9th stop – Zion – Rock climbing skills

The Zion National Park. We didn’t make it on time to do the Angels Landing hike. It’s about an 5 – 7 hrs hike; a full day hike. Neither did we see the Narrows as it was closed due to high water in the river. I enjoyed most to see the professional rock climbers. It takes them 2 full days to reach the top of a cliff. Secondly, this is the only canyon we saw it from the bottom, from the river that cuts through the canyon.

The rock climbers have skills in house to reach the top. Skills that are acquired and developed over years. Trained skills. The 10,000 hours rules says you have to be doing an activity for 10,000 hours total to be an expert. Practice leads to perfection. What is your skill? I have 16,640 hours of practice in #supplier selection, #negotiations, supplier management, #sourcing, #logistics, #planning and #supply chain management.
